----- A. An event that is said to be a precursor to the Revolution War, and that brought about much needed change in the Virginia colonies.
----- B. But really, how effective was Bacon's Rebellion? Was it worth the many sacrifices that were made?
II. Bacon's rebellion was a rebellion of poor farmers and former indentured servants that took place in the Virginia colonies in 1676.
----- A. Nathaniel Bacon led political and physical attacks against the governor, William Berkeley, and the Native Americans
---------- 1. Rebelled against the Native Americans because they occasionally attacked and killed colonist.
---------- 2. Rebelled against the governor because of high taxes and the fact that the governor refused make any adequate attempts at stopping the Native American attacks.
III. Bacon's Rebellion was essentially a crusade of terrorism that resulted in the deaths of hundreds.
